Peter Welleman
Peter Welleman (born October 7, 1969) is a Dutch illustrator, primarily of
magazines and books for young audiences. His favorite subject is technology,
explained in a simple but colorful way, sometimes in the form of a cutaway.
In 1989 Welleman began studing Industrial Design and Engineering at the
several companies as an engineer Peter Welleman returned to his true passion:
creating illustrations en cartoons. These are some of the magazines that
frequently publish Peter Welleman's work: De Ingenieur (Veen Magazines BV),
Hurriyet (Turkish Newpaper), Adfo Web Magazine (
Press Dept), Sign+ (Sign branch organisation), Agrio Magazine, VSN Magazine,

Peter Welleman also created a long series of background illustrations for the
web game Club_Penguin until it was purchased by The Walt Disney Company in
August 2007
